Faxes are automatically received and automatically converted to PDF then emailed to the email address specified during the setup
of your account.
Sending a fax
In order to send a fax you must have a scanned copy in PDF beforehand, this can be scanned to your email or saved to your computer.
If you have the ability to scan to email, you can just forward the email with the PDF attachment straight out of your email account. Or in the event that you do not have this ability create a new email and attach the scanned PDF copy, then the email must be structured like this:
1. Email must be sent to: firstname.lastname@example.org
2. The subject must contain the full phone number with area code example: 0255550000
3. Delete any text within the body of the email
Authorise your fax to be sent.
You will receive an email authorising the fax to be sent
Click on the link and this will authorise the sending of the fax.
Why do you need to do this?
This is an added step for security. This means none will be able to send unauthorised faxes on your account.
